High drama, Action all the way
in "Peter Pan", which as its
last show in Delhi's Kamani auditorium today. |
KidsWorld, the brainchild of Lushin Dubey and Bubbles Sabharwal, caters
to children in the age group of 4 years to 17, and in the past three years
or so with "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory", 'Jungle Book' and
'Peter Pan' has made acommendable contribution to children's theatre in
Delhi.
The children are thrilled by the animals and dancing Red Indians on the
island beautifully created by Lushin Dubey and Bubbles Sabharwal who have
also directed the play.
It is amazing how the two directors have managed the young ones, particularly
those in the age group of four to eight years, with not a single child
falling out of step or missing a cue.
Among the older children, Howard Rosemeyer, IIina Dubey, Neha Dubey, Tara
Lowen Adult and Zubin Malhotra act and sing with commendable control an
understanding of their roles. The mainstay of the production is its music
by a group of professionals and the songs by the cast.
